A wonderful post from Thrifty Decor Chick...on being a Momma!

This just touched my heart...so true and not a day goes by that I don't pray and worry about the boys and my beautiful daughter in law...I love you all!

My sister Cindy has been visiting us since the 18th of August...she flew out here to visit with us, the folks and her kids...she returns home to Illinois tomorrow and I am going to miss her..:(

Lake Shasta and Houseboatin'

This past weekend we ventured up to Northern CA and joined Scott, Lainie and her folks Cyndi and Walt on their houseboat at Lake Shasta. It was gorgeous but HOT
but that gave us an excuse to keep jumping in the lake to cool off!

Dan and his friend Matt, also Ryan and Mallory joined us all so we had a nice big group. Lots of laughs, food and fun...thanks to Walt and Cyndi for being such gracious hosts. Always lots of good family time!
