Pink Saturday..Last Saturday in February

Not sure how it can be almost March, but that’s what happens, time flies whether you are having fun or not!

Have not felt real well the last couple of days so will make my post short..Did not want to beg off of PS at the last minute but not sure how exciting my post will be.

First, thanks to a fine lady named Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for being our hostess each and every week.  It’s not an easy job I am sure, so please go to her blog and thank her and see what pinks she has in store today.

In unpacking our numerous trinkets, pictures and chatchtki’s, I found one of my favorite kitchen decor items.  I love it because my mom’s name is Rosemary, and I love the vintage look to this tin piece..and did I say it actually comes in handy, too.

If you look closely, the mugs say Queen of Everything and King of What’s Left!

We still need to paint and finish decorating the great room but you get the idea..

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

A Lovely Giveaway! Oh Wow!

I came across a delightful blog this morning while ‘surfing the ‘net’.  I was reading a lovely lady named Beverly’s blog My Sew Sweet Studio and she mentioned a young blogger named Amber.  Now, Amber is the mom of two little ones and a talented quilter and now makes her own patterns for sale.  Quilting is something I have always admired, although I don’t think I have the patience to quilt, I do admire those that can, and I love a beautiful quilt!

Anyway, Amber is having a giveaway of some beautiful items and one of her patterns..

Click on over to her blog A Little Bit Biased/Gigi's Thimble and enter..

This is what she is giving away:

Reduce Sentimental Clutter By Photographing Your Memories

I subscribe to several organizing and even several more home decor blogs, and the title of this one just caught my eye.

Most of you know that we have collected a LOT of things over the years, from my Frances Hook figurines, to pigs, to roosters, to this and that from our travels…our other homes were larger than this one and we had more room, but we have downsized to half the house we previously had and the task of going through our things is just overwhelming and while the ‘things’ drive me crazy, it’s still a little sad to part with them.

Check out what Tanna wrote about in this edition of Complete Organizing Solutions.  I would love to hear what some of you do with your treasures when its time to say goodbye!
