End of April?!?!

I just realized I have not posted anything on this blog since February...what dreamland have I been in? It's not that we haven't been busy...we have...at the end of February our good friends Cliff and Mona from Cherry Valley, CA drove up to visit us. We had a relaxing time with them.

In March Carl flew up to see Scott and Lainie for Scott's birthday. Both of us could not go due to needing a dogsitter, so he went, we take turns when that happens...plus it was last minute and air fare would have been nuts for both of us..they had a bbq at Lainie's folks in Loomis, and Scott surprised us, they bought a tent trailer, its very nice, it's a four wheeler one they can take quadding in the desert. The circle is now complete, the kid has a trailer, haha.

The first weekend in April we went down to SoCal/Corona to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. We went to Temecula at the crack of dawn that Saturday to go on our first hot air balloon ride. In addition to our anniversary, it was also Denise and Jeff's anniversary (30) and Eloda's birthday (50). I caught a horrible cold/flu right before we left, we only ended up staying at Denise's for one night and came home the night of the balloon ride. I was so miserable I just needed to be home...I was bummed too, because Scott and Lainie drove down, they stayed with Dan, and you know I am sick when I don't stick around to see the kids..anyway, as sick as I was, we had a great time and I would do it again in an instant! Thank you Eloda for arranging the ride! Our good friend Lynn, carl's buddy, was good enough to check in on the dogs for us, it worked out fine..Thank you, Lynn.

I flew up to Scott and Lainie's this past week, last Thursday. Saturday I was graciously invited to go wedding gown shopping with Lainie, her mom Cyndi, and her cousin Stef and aunt Megan in San Jose area. Oh she looked beautiful in everything, but yes, she did find 'the dress', she will be a beautiful bride. We are down to less than a year now..I flew back home on Monday. I had a great time and also enjoyed playing with my grandkitty Gypsy..

Scott and Lainie are flying down over Mothers Day weekend, we are going to make some appointments to speak and interview photographers and florists..That will be fun, but it's gonna cost me:)

We have just recently 'gotten into' geocaching'. Kind of like a treasure hunt with a portable GPS. Very cool!

I will post some pictures later on, but felt badly I had neglected my blog!
