Moving

Well, it's true...Dogmom and DogPa are on the move..again...honest, folks, we are about done. Pencil us in your address book just one more time!

We are leaving southern Utah, where we just never fit in, to beautiful western WA state to our teeny mobile home, which shall from now on be called 'the cottage'. Two old adults and 3 dogs in just under 800 sq feet! But the beauty of it its, its paid for...and it even came with a great little car! Free car! 94 Ford Tempo, red with less than 50,000 miles on it. We leave it there for when we are vacationing, well now we are going to be on a loooong vacation.
The worst part, the absolute worst, saddest part is leaving the awesome friends we have made here, but it's not goodbye, it's 'see ya later' and 'talk to you tomorrow'.

We aren't sure where we will permanently land. All we know is, we are not even thinking about house hunting until after the kids' wedding in April. Maybe we will just add on to it. Its workable and in great shape, just needs a tad more updating in the kitchen...but I don't cook anyway, so what the heck.

Anyway, change of address cards will be in the mail, we still have the same cell numbers and email addresses...

Wow, I am tired just thinking about this coming week!

  1. WOW, that was a quick sale, or it just seemed like it was. I am glad that you were finally able to sell. There is something to say about downsizing though. Just think, less house to clean:):) Now if we can just figure out where we are going:)
    Love you both, Kelli

  3. We found that living in the RV for 4 months was all we needed spacewise. Amazing that we go for bigger "main" houses. I'm glad you guys got your place sold. Sorry it didn't work out and you were unhappy. Washington is beautiful (prejudice of course). You'll love the green. Be happy! Sorry this is late...just got back from New Mexico. Love, Deb
