Had to go to Costco in Tumwater to pick up my new prescription sunglasses, the Diva Glasses. I had to get them, since I am the DogmomDiva! Anyway, they are cool and have some bling..afterwards we drove over to the old Olympia Brewery, which has been closed for about 5 years and for leasee, but the falls are there, you know 'it's the water' was the theme for Oly Beer. Well, it really is! I never knew there were falls there until one night a couple weeks ago we went to dinner with my cousin Sally and hubby Phil, and there they were all lit up! Beer=Water..well, duh Barb!
The fall colors are all out, here are some pics..enjoy..we are heading south to Sac tomorrow afternoon to spend time with Scott and Lainie, and do some serious mom dress shopping with her mom Cyndi...and go to Apple Hill..I must remember to bring home mandarins, too.

How come the brewery is closed? They still sell OLY! I rememeber going there with Mom, Ray and I think Sally when we were there for a visit when I was about 17.
ReplyDeleteI also remember on that trip Mom and I were at a mall somewhere and I decided to pierce second holes in my ears and it hurt so bad after the first one I didn't want to have the second one done, I did and they hurt the whole trip!
Oly got bought out by Miller so Oly beer is brewed at miller breweries but it can't be the same without 'the water' lol
