Tuesday the 21st

Well, it's Tuesday..3rd day of the week, 21st day of April. Sun is out, has been for a few days, tomorrow will be back to normal, cloudy chance of rain.

Well we are in escrow for a house in the Mountain View community in Desert Hot Springs, CA...just north of Palm Springs, back home to SoCal. We kinda made a big loop..we have so many woulda, shoulda, coulda's but the fact is we left our homes there like idiots and hopefully we can recover from all this. I'd like to know where that damn crystal ball is! Anyway, we have loan pre approval, which basically means nothin but we needed it to even make an offer on a place, we still had to send tons of papers last Friday and it's a slow go. Lenders are very busy and we know that, but we just need to hear the words 'your loan is approved' and escrow can close and we can just move on from this nightmare.

The house we are trying to buy is 4 years old, 1400 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, nice kitchen and great room with a fireplace..the back yard is huge and a blank slate for Carl, just dirt out there so lots of possibilites and projects for us. We plan to keep our little house here in WA since we hate the heat and will be snowbirds so to speak..we got a good deal on this house, very good..and it's about 3 blocks from my folks and brother..good to be close, not good to be in the same house.. Anyway, we are just keeping our fingers crossed and saying prayers that this goes through. Buying a home and getting a loan is not like it used to be folks...very stressful...
