I flew to Pittsburgh, PA for the first leg of my trip
and met at the airport by Shelly and another online friend, Fran. We went and had a great dinner at a steakhouse YUMMO, and also afterwards the gals took me on a mini tour of their town..it was raining but I did take a few pictures..Oh, and Shelly, knowing my craving for Italian pastries, showed up with these!
Shelly!
Here are a few pictures of downtown Pittsburgh, sorry about the rain but one thing I can’t control is weather..felt good on my desert dry skin though!
This is where the three rivers converge
I was exhausted so we headed back to her home, and I got to meet her sweet pup Watson! He wasn’t quite sure about ME though, but once he realized I was THE Dogmom, all was well.
Watson is a Morkie, Maltese and Yorkie mix, and doesn’t weigh 5 lbs soaking wet..What a sweet little man he is!
Early to bed that first night, we were getting up early and heading to see our friend Anne who lives in New Jersey, about a 7 hour drive..We loaded the car, and got Watson settled in on my lap, and off we went!
To be continued…
