In the Pink and of feeling blank

Happy Pink Saturday, I should have tried to post something a bit earlier, but it’s not even Saturday yet in my part of the world so I guess better later than never..

Hats.  Pink Hats..The Royal Wedding, why I have a fascination with the ladies’ hats and fascinators.  I had never heard that term before..the new Duchess of Cambridge has a fondness for them..here are a couple to enjoy

and a famous one worn by Catherine, now the Duchess,

Please stop by to say hi to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound and thank her for being our hostess each week for Pink Saturday…

I have to say that I have not blogged much lately, I feel like I haven’t much to ‘say’ for some reason..Now why is that?  Is it a writer’s tiredness?  I’ve jusst totally drawing a blank when it comes to posting.  I don’t know, but I do know that I am going to try to get out more and experience some life outside of the house this next week, and share what I discover!  Have a great weekend, and I am going to make a lot of effort to visit more of my fellow pinkines this weekend.

  4. The British hats blow our minds they are SO over-the-top, which is "normal" to them.

  6. I loved seeing all the hats too. I think a lot of American gals did because we sure have been talking about them.
I've been in a writers slump too. I think we all go through phases where we "feel" like writing and some times we don't. Have a great weekend, Nan

  7. I love these hats! All the Royals have such a way with hats! How about Princess Beatrice and her hat having its own following on Face Book? That was a funny hat!
Just post some pictures without words! It is great when the mind is drawing a blank!
Come visit soon. I hope you are well and I know you had your wedding anniversary! There is something to write about! Who stays married anymore these days!? You and I I suppose! Hugs Anne

  8. Trust me do not feel alone. We all get burned out on one thing or another. You did the right thing, rest and refocus. Blogging can become a full time thing, if we let it.

  9. Hi there! I'm sorry you feel as if you've been in a slump. A day out may be just what you need to recharge your batteries. Sometimes getting away and taking the pressure off of yourself is all it takes. I enjoyed your post on fascinators. I have never heard the term before, but the one the Duchess is wearing definitely becomes her. Of course, when you look like that, a burlap sack will become you :) Have a lovely weekend! Terri

  11. I just recently found out what a fasinator was too. I love the sweet little ones, but saw some at the "wedding" that really made me laugh. Kate wears hers very well.
