Well, last night was the monthly Friday Night Sew In, and so I got comfy, put on my jammas, and got crackin’.
First, I needed to finish hand sewing the waistband of an apron that was almost finished..
there, now it’s done..
After that was done, I decided to cut out the fabric for my Paris apron..
How wonderful is this fabric..gosh I wish now I had purchased more!
I then put the finishing touches on a coffee cozy to match the above lacy apron
And on to the Paris apron…Oooh la la!
I actually got quite a bit done last night, I find that sewing calms my nerves and I love to see the different fabrics that I can put together and come out with a fab finished product..
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Your apron looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm just learning how to use the sewing machine. It's not as easy as it looks.
The next apron is going to be ooh la la!

ReplyDeleteThis is my first FNSI so I was very happy to get something finished. It was a load off my mind, for sure.
Take care.
I love the fabric you chose for your Paris apron. I can't wait to see it completed!

That Paris apron is my all time favorite - I would have guessed that you were making an apron though - you love doing that! Happy Father's day.
ReplyDeleteYour aprons are so darling! I wish sewing calmed my nerves! Ha ha. I think it causes me more stress.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to "see" you sewing, Barb. Your Paris fabric is fabulous. That is going to be a great apron. I think a tote would be wonderful too. I've alwasy said, sewing is the best therapy ever. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday.
