Hmmm…Being Brave on Pink Saturday!

I have to apologize for my lack of motivation on my blog..I tell you I am in such a blog fog, hoping it passes quickly!  I can’t stand not being able to blog like I want to..what do you do when you get a blog fog?  How can I shake this off?

My friend Parsley posted a dare on one of her posts this week to be brave and post a picture of ourselves.  I just saw the post so here goes:

DogmomDiva Apron from Karen C

This was taken a year ago while visiting my sis and brother in law at their farmhouse in western Illinois…Isn’t that an adorable apron, it was a gift from my sweet friend Karen, my daughter in love’s stepmom…It does say DOGMOM DIVA in pink on it..I just love it!  So snazzy!

We are visiting our son and daughter in love and the lovely Grace Lily this weekend, we got here last night and will stay a few days, until Tuesday most likely…I have not had a chance to take more pictures but I will have plenty of picture taking opportunities these next few days.

While blog hopping earlier, I noticed that my dear friend Anne of Phamilyblog posted a picture of a new teapot she found…Here is an image of my Mary Kay teapot..I won it in a contest a few years ago and it’s one of my treasures…and so pretty in pink..

MK Teapot

I had given some thought to having a giveaway for it, but so far I can’t part with it.  Maybe one day!

Have a wonderful weekend, I love that you came to visit my blog and especially love your comments!  Stop by and visit our sweet Beverly at How Sweet the Sound, she is our hostess with the mostest!

  4. Good for you I like seeing pictures of our blogging buddy. Great Idea your friend had ...I get foggy too your not by yourself....I'm sure some of the time I don't blog about things that interest others but I think of the blog as a scrap book for me to remember by. Trish

  7. Hey Barb, I can't use the excuse of Blog Fog for not adding any posts to my blog! I am just too busy visiting my new grandson Joseph Amadeo, and cleaning up my yard for winter that looks like it is going to come without any Fall!!

I am waiting patiently again to hear from my most recent swap partner in Shawnees Fall Table Runner Swap. I never did get my last swap apron! It is suppose to be lost in USPS la la land. Even the Apron Angel pooped out on me. I don't know what is up with that. Sounds all fishy to me. Just tipical of my luck! Oh well, I didn't need anymore aprons anyway!

Hug Grace Lily for me!! Enjoy your visist and travel safely!!!

  8. Good Morning Barb Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, you are just precious. What a beautiful smile. I love your photo and that apron is just down right darling. How sweet to have Dogmom Diva on it, and love the little peace sign on the pocket, so cute.

I am so tickled you are off visiting Ms Gracie. They grow so fast. I cannot believe our oldest grand daughter will be 16 on Christmas Day this year. Where has the time gone?

Well sweetie, I am so happy to see your happy smile. I hope you have a wonderful visit. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

  13. Hi Barb...my goodness but time flies when your havin' fun bloggin' and livin' life. I've been doing lots of both without much time for visiting, so I'm just droppin' in to say Howdy, and invite you to stop by CollectInTexas Gal.

As times change for all of us, our Blogs seem to reflect those changes in our interests, and CITexas Gal has changed a bit with the addition of Tracks of My Texas Ancestors. Yep, I've been bitten by the Genealogy Bloggin' Bug.

I'd love to share the Blogging Genealogy Community with you. I hope you will have a minute to stop by and see/read the 'May I Introduce You To' interview Feature on CollectInTexas Gal/Tracks of My Texas Ancestors by GeneaBlogger.

I'll just bet you have lots of ongoing projects and plans for the holidays. I'm needing motivation and even more motivation to get back into sewing as a hobby. I'll check in tomorrow!
