I thought today I would show off some of our desert sunrise and sunsets..The mountains are beautiful, the beaches are peaceful, but the desert has her own beauty! We live in the southern California desert near Palm Springs.

Where do you live? It is beautiful!! It looks like AZ~I got to go there back in Sept-Oct. and I loved it. I live in the mountains of Virginia and love that too though:) Have a great weekned!

ReplyDeleteWow Barb! Great photos of your Sunrise and Sunsets! Are you sure those weren't taken in Texas? We have some of the same spectacular Sunsets...right down to the Wind Farm Windmills. Lots of them right around where I live, and they ARE something to see in the sunset...at anytime really. Happy Pink Saturday!

What lovely pictures of sunrises and sunsets. We sometimes have those colors in our sky here in Arizona. I love the area around Palm Springs. My California sis has a condo in Palm Desert. We usually have a sister's weekend there in the spring.

love the pictures of your sunrises and sunsets. I simply love both, yet rarely do I arrise out of bed in time for a sunrise. That was Mom's doing, she was the morning person, I am a day person. this november hasn't been too bad here in michigan.

ReplyDeleteWow! That wind farm really did have a PINK PINK sky didn't it? Funny, all those windmills seem almost spooky even though the solitary desert tree doesn't - funny isn't it?
That is beautiful! I wish I could get up early enough to find a good view of the sunrise. Carl and I tried to make it to the coast to catch a CA sunset, but we missed it...but I'm sure we'll try again soon.
