It’s All About the Pink!

I wasn’t sure what to post tonight for Pink Saturday.  Am I the only one who runs out of pink ideas?  I don’t have a lot of pink flowers around the house, nor do I have a lot of pink clothes, or little girls around (yet) so how do you all come up with Pink week after week?

First, many thanks and kudos to our Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for being the hostess with the mostest!  And please stop by to say hi to Beverly and also some of my pink sisters!

I participated in a fun apron swap recently, hosted by Shawnee at Flirty Apron Swap.  Jen W. from Alaska had me as her swap sister and I got the most beautiful apron and box of goodies!  Check out this apron!

A cookbook from Alaska, and some handcrafted burp cloths for my new granddaughter!  These will stay with me for when I am caring for the little sweetie♥

these are made out of vintage fabric from the 60’s and the reverse side is soft, soft chenille.

Thank you, Jen. W.!

Am I the luckiest gal or what!  Have a wonderful and blessed weekend my sweet pinkies!

  1. I guess you are a material girl, literally. Smiles. In this case it would be the fabrics=material. Happy PS.

  6. I often wonder how you keep coming up with pink in your life, Barb.
You have been on the receiving end of some great swaps lately. I'm sure those ladies are receiving equally creative gifts from you too.
Happy "pink" Saturday. I think it can be a state of mind too or an attitude maybe.
With that little one coming you should be "in the pink" every day.

  11. Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this evening. Oh my I love, Love, LOVE that apron. It is just so stinkin cute. I am so tickled they have came back, as I am always in need of one when I cook. I think the messy cooks, make the best cooks.

Love those burp rags. Aren't they just beautiful. Almost a shame to use them they are so pretty.

I bet that Alaska cookbook has some pretty wonderful recipes in it, that I certainly hope you will share along the way.

Many hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

  13. How cool! Love what you got! As soon as I have the sewing room all in order, I will be able to participate in some of them. Right now it still looks like the dungeon (as 2 of one of my student's nicknamed the family room). I love sewing but I want a dedicated space for it. I hope your pain level isn't too bad today!!

  14. Yes, indeed you were very lucky. All those are great gifts. What makes them even better is they came from your friends in another country. I love hearing from my friends around the world. Even feeling bad, you still took time to visit and I truly appreciate it. Trust you are feeling much better now.
