Or, would that be the dog days of August!? Seems like it here in northern Nevada, hot, hot, hot. Our prayers are with the good folks in Texas as they suffer from the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Prayers to all.
Anyway, I wasn't sure what to write about today for Pink Saturday, and then I saw on Facebook that it is International Day of the Dog. And who better to celebrate that then me, the Dogmom!
I'd love to share a couple photos of our one remaining dog, Halo Butterbuns. Halo just turned 15 years young, and is still pretty active and doing well. We have never had a dog live this long so we are in unchartered territory with this guy. But we celebrate him today, and all our beloved dogs that have since passed to the Rainbow Bridge, the most recent was our Gracie, the Dalmatian, in September 2015, and then India, our lab mix, who passed this past November, 2016. We've had so many dogs we have loved, we miss them all so much.
Now on to this guy, Halo...
That's him, ruler of the roost! We hope he continues to be healthy and happy. One thing about having only one pup now is he is easy to travel with. Here's to you, Halo!
Sending a shoutout to Miss Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound, please hop over to visit her and some of the lovely Pinksters who post on Saturdays!
Thanks for stopping by, and would love you to leave me a comment!

I loved your comment at my blog about coming full circle with the property where we lived. I walls could talk....My folks lived in the house in the grove that my sister now owns. My brother Ed was born there.Dad was a building their home back than 1946. I would love to own my parents property. Let's make a pact, if we win money, ,lots of it, say a lottery,we buy each other those houses and restore them to their glory. You need to blog girl! You can write about the pup Prince and all those before him. You can write about traveling and your life today. You should really do it. You won't find so much garbage to scroll past over here. :-) HUGS
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for you to post here. It has been a long while. But I enjoyed seeing all the photos of your lil buddy halo. He sure was a king at your house. HUGS
