As much fun as we are having on our cruise, I miss my blog, and I miss reading everyone else's, too! We are on the Norwegian Spirit, we left New Orleans on the 11th and will disembark in Boston this Friday the 23rd. What a wonderful time we are having, we have met so many wonderful people, mostly thanks to the website Cruise Critic, which I started following the roll call for this ship and date of sailing when I booked last May..so we felt like we already knew several new friends before we even got on board. And of course met up in New Orleans with our friends Rob and Susan, and Dennis and Jan, who we met on a similar cruise 4 years ago!
I enjoy the sea days the most. As much as I enjoy the Caribbean, the vibe on the islands and the blue water, the heat and humidity are not my friend. We have so far been to Costa Maya, Mexico, Santo Tomas, Guatemala, Aruba, Curacao, then next stop on Wednesday the 21st is Bermuda, and off the ship in Boston. We will be staying a few days in Boston to so some more sightseeing and things we did not get to see in 2006. And then a week from today we will be on our way home, and we are both missing our home and the dogs..Mom, Dad and Ray are doing a great job taking care of them, but when we are gone for such a long time, I do really miss them. And anxious to see the kids, guess I should have put them first, lol!
Here are some pictures.. Hoping when I post the blog it goes through and posts..will hook up to the internet signal later today, its very, very expensive on the ship so I am limited in my time online, which is fine since I should be enjoying the ship and not online.

Lovely pictures. When you're in Bermuda you'll be about 2 hours off the coast of North Carolina. :-)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to more pictures.
Great pictures of the islands and the ship! I loved being at sea when I was in the Navy. My dad, neighbor and I were just discussing a few evenings ago about maybe taking a short cruise before she moves back north.
ReplyDeleteYou and your husband are such a cute couple! I love your pictures. You seem like you are on a very nice cruise. Glad that you are enjoying it.
