Ok here we go!
1. Please share one memory of your high school graduation. Pics would be great!
Gee it was soo long ago..it was a warm day, over 700 graduates and a gold gown..and went to grad night at Disneyland. Here is a picture from maybe my Sophomore year in high school (I told you I was old!) EGADS!
2. What is one "emergency use" item you keep in your vehicle at all times?
I keep water and an extra pair of walking shoes in the trunk in case of an earthquake..Have done that for years.
3. In your region, do you celebrate graduation open houses? Addendum: (If so,) how many open houses/bridal showers/weddings are on your upcoming events calendar?
I’m not really sure anymore, when my boys graduated we did a dinner for them or party, and they attended their grad nites at Disneyland. We have two weddings upcoming in June and we are very excited about those..Our friends’ kids are all at that age where they are getting married. Wasn’t it just US??
4. Tell me one truth you believe about motherhood.
No one said it was easy, and it’s not.
5. What was the last thing you broke?
Oh, drats…the mug I purchased on the cruise ship we were recently on. It was a nice heavy mug too:(
6. On average, how many pieces of junk mail do you receive daily?
Oh wow, like 5 maybe, not as much as we used to but still ridiculous!
7. Do you like to shop by catalog?
Yes, and online..it’s hard for me to get out to shop with my illness and that is probably just as well, spend less money that way!
8. Is lawn maintenance at your house a "his job," a "her job"or "his/her job" or "that's why we have teenagers" job?
Well…it’s pretty much a HIS job due to his choice. I could do it if needed. When we had teenagers it was their job but mostly hubby did it.
9. Which room would you like to redecorate in your home?
My office, my plan is to turn it into a hobby/craft room and ditch the office idea..I don’t spend any time ‘officing’ in there lol.
10. Do you read a newspaper regularly, or do you read most of your news on line?
We get a daily paper, I don’t read it (I get the headlines on the local tv news or online) but hubby likes it so we keep getting it.
11. Do you believe everything happens for a reason?
Definitely, yes!
12. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I guess at this point in my life, I worry more about doing the right things, I am not as much of a perfectionist anymore.

Wow, I'd have been a lot more excited about my grad if we celebrated in Disneyland!!! One of my favourite places even now that I'm an adult haha!
ReplyDeleteWishing my grad night had been at Disney...what fun! But, on the other hand, knowing what kind of trouble I was apt to get into then, it's probably just as well. Liked reading your answers!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I was excited at the time..when you grow up near Disneyland, it's fun but I think even as a kid we took it for granted..thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteWe get a paper too, but only for the coupons. I get most of my news online. And from the radio.
ReplyDeleteOoooh a Disneyland Graduations sounds like SO much fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was good to get to know more about you - and you were pretty in high school and so are you now!

Grad night at disney! We both know I would have loved that! sorry you broke your new mug :( I love getting new mugs (much to my family's distress - I apparently have too many?) I love reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteI fondly remember those grad night trips to Disneyland. My nephew and daughter are going this year.

Thanks for this fun post! I always like learning more about my blogging buddies. We had a grad party at six flags - the entire park was filled with graduating classes! I also do most of my shopping online much to the chagrin of the UPS and USPS delivery people.
