This Week’s Random Dozen!

1. What was the last thing about which you procrastinated?

Probably paying bills, it’s so depressing I always seem to put it off until I absolutely HAVE to.

2. How long does it take you to fall asleep, and do you sleep through the night?

Wow, this is a loaded question.  Usually I fall asleep, but I can’t stay asleep.  Have health issues that contribute, plus stress..if I get 5 or 6 hours worth of decent sleep, I can deal with that.

3. Which decade would you choose to exemplify your favorite fashion styles?

I am pretty casual so probably the 70’s…jeans, etc..although living in warm weather country, I wear Capri's or pedal pushers as my mom calls them, so maybe the 50’s.  I love retro anything!

4. What is your personal best dish to feed a crowd?

Oh hands down, my nana’s spaghetti recipe!  It’s delicious and I could eat it about every day

5. Are you an impulse shopper? What was the last thing you bought on impulse?

Not as much as I used to due to cutting back and lack of funds.

6. What is one wish you have for your own funeral?.

Closed everything.  Casket, Please do not open the casket, I would prefer to be remembered as I was.  There are enough decent photos of me to remember.  Better yet, cremation is fine with a memorial service.  Play some great music and party folks.  That is what I would like.

7. If it's true that joy is in found in the simple things in life, what does your joy look like today?

Loving the kids and my husband, even though the kids are on their own, this mom thinks and prays for them each day; also my dogs bring a lot of joy to me..and counting our blessings is a must!

8. What is your favorite type of bread?

Any bread that is right out of the oven or bread maker!  Aside from that, I like WONDER white bread.  I know, its bad, but I love it.

9. What trait do you fear developing the most? (Laziness, greediness, grumpiness, etc.)

Well I am pretty established at this age, I think I would like to age gracefully and be a kind old lady, not grumpy or crabby!

10. What trait would you like most to develop?

I keep working on patience!  Hurry, dammit!

11. Which room in your house best reflects your personality? Why?

Oh the kitchen so far, although the guest room is getting a re-do soon and that is going to be my theme room.  I have ideas, peeps!

12. How do you maintain balance in your life regarding, work, family, church, other organizations and activities, and blogging?

I am disabled/retired so at this point I don’t have work or kids to deal with anymore.  When the boys were still younger and at home, I would have had a hard time getting on the computer to blog, etc.  I don’t know how these younger gals do it!
