Hi Pinkies..I wish my heart was in my post today, but its just been a sad week here and I can’t get motivated for anything..I’m glad its Pink Saturday to force me out of my funk. You all always cheer me up a bit!
My sweet daughter in love’s daddy passed away this past Sunday of a massive heart attack, at the young age of 53. Ed was an awesome guy, with a loving wife, his daughter, my DIL, and a wonderful stepdaughter and stepson who are all missing him very, very much. If you will bear with me I would like to share a picture..
We have been looking at family pictures all week and in all the wedding pictures, Ed is just beaming..He was so happy to have his daughter marry a good guy. He is missed:( Prayers so appreciated for his wife Karen, his daughter Melainie, stepson Joseph and stepdaughter Danna, and extended family. Thank you.
Ok now I hope I didn’t drag this down but I NEEDED to pay tribute to Ed. Now, on to PINK SATURDAY!
I would like to share this lovely apron package I received from Kathy of Look What the Kat Dragged In…Kathy did an outstanding job of this beautiful light pink apron, very old fashioned and vintage-y..I love it and it so reminds me of my nana’s aprons..
Lovely box full of goodies, a delightful hand made candle, a Men In Black II DVD, we will enjoy that this weekend! Also a sweet card from Kat to me, and two cute ceramic chicken and rooster salt and pepper shakers..and a wonderful rooster reusable travel bag, perfect for a trip to the market or on a short vacay!
I can’t get over the beautiful fabrics Kat used, even a fabric that looks like chicken wire…my heart be still!
And here it is hanging on my favorite door, waiting to be lovingly put to use! Thank you so much Kat for putting so much effort and love into my gift! I will treasure it always:)
Most importantly now I would like to thank our sweet Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for being our wonderful hostess week after week.
One more thing…I have been offered the opportunity by CSN stores to do a review on a product…the link is HERE Any ideas of what YOU would like ME to review. I need ideas, peeps..Help me!
Have a wonderful week!

ReplyDeleteMy sympathies to your family on the loss.
