October 12—Thanksgiving Day (Canada)
Thanksgiving Day in Canada is celebrated on the second Monday in October. The first Canadian Thanksgiving Day was observed on April 15, 1872, to celebrate the recovery of the prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) from a serious illness.

I guess it’s the colors and warmth of F.A.L.L. that I love so much..when the boys were young I know it was the back to school thing, too, lol..but then when they went back to school, so did I! Hmm…its just a wonderful time of the year and after the long, hot summer, it’s more than welcome at our home!
