For those of you who don’t know, I have a ‘thing’ for aprons. I have always loved aprons and I need to thank my sweet cousin Sally for re introducing me to aprons, she has quite a collection. Soo..when I got all involved in blogland, I found a couple of awesome apron swaps and some sweet ladies who host them..
I am in two right now, and working on the aprons I am making for my swap partners, but I received an awesome package in the mail the other day from sweet Stevie at My Art Canvas. Oh my.
Here is just a peek at what I found inside the box, all lovingly wrapped and I was like a kid in a candy shop!
First, the apron..so darling! All sparkly..oh la la! Thank you Stevie!
and some goodies to go with..we call them ‘tuck ins’

PS..Here is a sneak peek at the fabric I am using for MY partner, still a secret, shhh…

How cute is that?! I have got to learn to sew.
ReplyDeleteCUTE!!!! The fabric is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!!I can't sew at all and I'm always amazed at what people can creat by hand.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb. I posted a comment last night and lost it, so thought I'd try again. I love the apron you got in your swap. What fun things came with it too. Alice in Wonderland is a good theme and the little felt(wool?) mushroom is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric you are working on will make a great apron. Hope you show it when it is finished. I love aprons too but never wear one (I should). Have bought several patterns, just haven't got around to them.
For all the apron lovers and some users, this is a great idea. I love the one you received and the fabric you are using.
ReplyDeleteNow I've got to get out my sewing machine and oil it up. I got an itch to stitch an apron.
