I am so excited to join the Bloggerette Society! This is our very first party, commonly called a ‘RUSH’. I never went to college and never had an opportunity to join a sorority so this is darn fun for me! Join the fun with Karen at Some Days Are Diamonds
Our RUSH project was to create something with this picture
and take our picture with it..Egads..I knew there was a catch..well..here goes!
First, I am not the most crafty gal on earth, but I did do what I know and that is framing and a lit of embellishment.
Now, here I am
Well, that’s it for now..now go visit the other 150 or so Bloggerettes, or as many as you can! Have a great day!

What a sweet picture of you Barb. I have been considering the sorority. What a cute idea...time, you know. Very clever how you framed the picture.
ReplyDeleteAlso enjoyed your Wedding post. Great idea to post pictures of both weddings. Things sure have changed.
Weren't we just babies back then. We was married in 1968.
Hello Sorority Sister! I love what you did with the picture and your blog is beautiful. Hugs!

What a beautiful frame! I have always admired stain glass work
ReplyDeleteLike the frame you picked for our Sorority Girls. Happy to belong to a group of sisters.
ReplyDeleteOooh, that frame is really nice and the coloration of the photo fits it so well. It is nice to meet you sorority sister.
ReplyDeleteHi Sweetie, love your frame. You are as cute as a button!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pic of you. You're making me curious about this 'bloggerette society'.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your Rush project!! Beautiful frame. I'm so glad to meet another Sister!! I can't wait to see what's next with our sorority ~ I look forward to getting to know you.
ReplyDeleteYou look great Barb and what you came up with for your society sister picture was very nice. I like the way you took the black and white and added some color. I hope you feel better soon, I hate to read that you are down and not feeling well. Get better soon. I could really use your sweet hat with all the sun we have here. Happy Pink Saturday girlfriend and have a great week, Char
ReplyDeleteVery fun! There have a been a few gals who somehow or another - through the magic of PhotoShop I am assuming - added color to the picture! I want to learn how! I was just mentioning to someone else how I am now looking forward to trying some new things in my studio. Lots of fun ideas out there!
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined in with our little Sorority.
Enjoy the party! I hope you are feeling much better soon! :) Karen
Great idea! Mine is still in process, being so sick and having to work full time has been awful these past few weeks!
ReplyDeleteI am putting my post up tomorrow even though I somehow got left behind on the post honor roll.
I went to the thrift stores today and boy did I get some new treasures! Fun!
Watermelon and pink lemonade are yummy in the hot weather!
Noelle makes a mean mango margarita. I like it because you can do it without the alcohol too!
Have a nice relaxing weekend. Anne
Hello there Sista. You did a great job on your R*U*S*H project!! I am just now getting to finish Karen's list of our sisters. I am so excited about our sorority and all the F*U*N we will have!

Love that you are a dog diva mom (me too); glad to meet you through the sisterhood. I'm following you now!

Hello Barb! So happy to meet another Sista! I am making the rounds trying to meet everyone and alot of us are also part of Pink Saturday so that is so very sweet. Love the post about your wedding and your son's. My son also got married last June and they just celebrated their 1st Anniversary with a trip to Madrid, Spain. He works for the airlines so they are taking advantage of traveling before they have kids...so smart! I can't believe it has been a year already...seems like it was just yesterday when we all gathered to celebrate. Hope you have a wonderful week and that you are feeling well. I've added your blog to my google reader so that I can keep up with your posts and my Sista! Fondly, Roberta
